Chapter Two; Why Do They Call Her That?
Chapter 2
The boy beside Abraxas looked doubtfull, "The Silent Beauty?"
Abraxas nodded, his eye's finally leaving the retreting girl. As he turned back to the boy beside him, a loud screach erupted into the hall and a soaked, red faced Slytherin named Melody Parkinson entered. Her muddy brown eye's were full of fury, her hands clenched into fists. The girl that had just walked out walked back in and glanced at her, her face still expressionless. The girl shook her head slightly and pulled a green slip of papper from her skirt pocket and handed it to Meldoy before spinning on her heal and begining to walk away for the second time,
"Stop right there you freak! I know it was you who did this and you have the nerve to give me a detention?!" Melody shouts
The girl stops, slightly turning her head the boy beside Abraxas saw her mouth move, the movement was so fast, so subtle, that had he not been looking at her lips, her soft pink lips, he never would have seen it.
Melody then stood up straight, her arms snapped to her side and her lips clamped together. The girl then countinued on her way out of the hall leaving a fuming Melody imobile and unable to speak.
The boy beside Abraxas stood up and followed the beautiful girl, weaving through the passing sudents and into the Slytherin Commons area. When he entered, he found her sitting on one of the green couches admiring the fire place. The boy sat beside her,
"Hello, my name is Tom Riddle. What's yours?" He says
The girl dosent spare him a glance, Tom lets out a frustrated sigh, "Tell me your name you filthy halfblood."
The girl visibly stiffens, a cold and deadly glare fixated on her perfect features as she get's up and walks from the commons, leaving a startled Tom Riddle to stare after her retreating form.
*Silent Beauty's P.O.V.*
Emotionless.
That is how many would describe me, an emotionless angel born into a pain filled life. They are half right. My life is pain filled, but I am not emotionless. I never have been, although, the only emotions I feel are pain, anger and a lust for power. My face is always blank, void of all emotion, the reason being, I refuse to show weakness. Emotions are for the weaker race, emotions are for the soft children, the poeple not going anywear in life.
I now sit outside in the snow, my back against a willow tree inside the Forrbiden Forest. My head swims with mermories, demented, horrifying memories. Memories and thoughts that could send a normal witch to the point of pure insanity. My small hands slightly clench in frustration as I remember one particular memory,
FlashBack.
"Hey everyone look! It's freaky Freak!" Shouts Analisa, a short chubby girl with a red bob cut.
A small girl with beautiful dark brown curls looks up from her book, her angelic face blank, apearing as if it were etched in stone. Analisa had come to torment her again, a group of other orphange children stood behind her, laughing ever so slightly in both fear and admiration. The girl closed her book and stood on her feet, much taller than Analisa. As the girl began to walk away, Analisa yanked on her sweater slevee, pulling her down into the mud. The girl sat in the dirty water, no emotion on her pretty face. Instead, she looked up at the sky and closed her eye's,
"What're you doing freak? Talking to your dead ugly mother?" Analisa mocked
The girl on the ground's eye's flew open, anger causing her violet eye's to glow a bright, yet somehow very beautiful, red. The other children slowly backed away, all but four. Analisa, Janett, Miria and Stephan. Instead of backing off, they only grinned and began to torment the girl some more, despite the drastic change in her eye color.
"Your mother was nothing more than a freak like you! I bet she hated you and that's why your hear!"
"Please, I bet her mom killed herself becuase of this freak!"
The girl stood from the ground, her fists clenched and rapidly walked from the scene. Her mind racing with painful way's to end their lives.
An hour later, all the orphange children were asleep, all but one. The girl whome the four had bullied outside the orphange walls stood staring at their sleeping forms, knife clutched in her hand. The first to go was Analisa, the girl plunged the blade straight through her beating heart, a death much more peacefull and plesant than she deserved. The girl then moved to the two girls Janett and Maria, twins, and rubbed the sharp end of her knife against her ivory face. With a small grin, she plunged her knife into Janett's stomach, slowly dragging the blade down to her waist and pulling it out to start on her twin. With Maria, the girl ripped her arm from her body, and hung her upside down from the celiling. Finally, the girl faced Stephan. The boy she had hated since she first came to the orphange. The girl looked at her knife and threw it, glaring at Stephan, wishing his body would tear it's self apart. To her astondishment, it did as she comanded, splattering her white cotton dress in thick, hot blood.
