Chapter 1
"A POTION IS A MIXTURE OR COMPUND WITH MAGICAL PROPERTIES"
- Mixture=Physical combination where each ingredient retains their own properties
- Compound=A chemical combination where the properties of the ingredients are changed
- Antidote=Anything that counteracts or reverses negative effects upon the body
- Cure=The end of a disease or condition through the use of a remedy
- Poison=Anything that causes or enhances negative effects upon the body
- Solution=A homogenous mixture where a solute has been dissolved in a solvent
- Homogenous Mixture=A mixture that is composed of only one phase
- Solute=The substance being added by solvent
