Chapter 3
As I sat with Gandalf I drank and ate and we had a many laughs. But I knew why I must speak with him.
"Gandalf, my old friend?" I said
"I know, my little fellow. I know what you are here for. But before I reveal my hand may I ask, why here?" he said sadly
"This is where my life truly began so..." I stopped short
"It will be where it ends." he said quietly so that Gimli would not hear.
"Yes."
"Then let us go. For we don't have to much time."

When they got to the Misty Mountain Gandalf laid me on a dwarvic stone of burial. Then as he sang the words of a old tune he prepared to put all my knowledge of Middle Earth into a bottle. Which would destroy my soul but would preserve my knowledge so that Frodo would know the truth of this world.
"Are you ready?" said Gandalf
"Yes." said I
Then blue colors swirled above my head and I felt a strange relaxation and when I closed my eyes I never opened them again.
