First let me give a brief introduction to what wandlore really is.

Wandlore is a branch of magic that contains multiple energies surrounding the creation of wands. How they function, how the wand chooses the wizard, how the wands are made, etc. 

Wandlore has been around for centuries. It's a very complex branch of magic, that only people with great skill know how to completely control it. 

Theories about Wandlore:

One theory about Wandlore is a theory that I came up with in the midst of writing a paper. 

How exactly DOES the wand choose the Wizard? What makes the wand choose us?

My theory is this:

- When a wizard or witch is born, they are giving a certain genome ( A genome is a genetic coding, ie DNA) that is similar to that of the creature the wand they will be paired with. For instance: My wand has a core of Dragon Heartstring. This would mean, somewhere in my millions of codes of DNA, I have a similar structure to a Dragon's (Nothing to do with the physical appearance), this is what causes the Wizard and the wand to agree with each-other! Similar genetic structures.
