Sick over Strawberry?

Chapter 4
Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans literally mean every flavour, right?

Well, you'd think people would struggle to pick just one favourite.

But a recent poll shows witches and wizards of England prefer the disgusting puke flavour ones to the classic strawberry ones. Weird as it seems, 48% of people asked liked puke the most of the confectionery beans, but only 13% favoured strawberry over the rest. 25% of those asked liked chocolate and 6% liked the limited edition BBQ flavour. 6% prefer the plain vanilla, whereas 2% liked other flavours.

We caught up with a few people who took the poll.

"[Puke flavour] just tastes so delicious. I use them in baking a lot."

"I don't know what it is, but the sick-flavoured ones are yummy. They make you want to puke too."

"Puke? Yuck, I like coconut best. I've never had a puke sweet, and I never will!"

Looks like a mixed overview. We spoke to Shaun Dewitt, the wizard who thought up the sick-flavoured sweetie.

"When I created the puke bean, I didn't know that it would be so popular! I thought it would just be useful for dare games or practical jokes. I never thought it would be the nation's favourite!"

"How did you think up the puke jellybean?"

"Well, I was at a Bertie Bott's Confectionery meeting. We were desperate for a new flavour for everybody to buy. The witches and wizards were bored of the classic flavours. The board urgently wanted new gross flavours for people to try. So we brought out a new range of beans called The Gross Collection. It included liver and tripe, earwax, dog food, and the star of the show - puke flavour! We were selling faster than we ever had before."
