The Snake
Chapter 1
I was walking down my alleyway. Yes, MY alleyway. Kids are scared of me. They say that my jet-black hair means mischief, and my green eyes challenging anyone who dares. They also call me "snake-whisperer", as I always find myself talking to this particular cobra, hissing at each other. They say that when I do, my eyes flash with light and fire, the type when you are ecstatic with glee. They say that whenever they flash, it is intimidating, and that it is a warning of what I could do. Honestly, I know I could do magic, and I have a wand too, from Ollivanders. It is a acacia-wood wand, phoenix-feather, flexible and supple. I am now talking to my pet cobra, Coddy, about my day. Coddy doesn't mind, and so we are usually seen walking down the street together, scaring small children. I don't mean to scare them, but they don't care. They think I'm a liar, a thief. Today, though, the Ministry of Magic came, and took me away.
