The Scolding

Chapter 5
"Do you know how ugly that bruise looks!?" I wake up to find my mother yelling at me. my elbow had a scratch. "What bruise are you shouting about, mother?" I ask politely. "I am talking about that red line on your elbow that you just saw, Pandora Parkinson! You are a pureblood, a child from a rich family, a parkinson, now start acting like one!!" mother screams, and it took all my will to not look away or cover my ears, for when mother screams, it sounds like the screeching of nails on chalkboards. So yes, yikes! "You are grounded, Missy, do you hear me! The only place you are going is to either Hogwarts, Malfoy's manor, or Hogsmeade! Do you hear me, Missy!" I wanted to reply loud and clear, and that, with you screaming, how can I not hear you? And, as I was able to go to my favorite places in the world, I don't think mom understands the concept of being grounded. You may be wondering, "that's it? You're just grounded? No slap, no punch?". Well, in case it still isn't clear, the one thing mother cares for about me is my looks. Nothing else.
