First you need to understand yours and the other persons values. You don't value the same thing and even if you did it would be for different reasons. There is never one idea or one human value. Because there will always be another side of the coin. If some people value it then others will not. For example: Most people hate tornadoes, I love them. I love them because they act like a natural air filter when they shoot pollution into the atmosphere. So knowing that they are a separate person with feelings that are rapped in there own shit will help you not get so offended. That is what I mean by understand.
