Dear Reader,

My name is Don Ravenwood. I was born and raised in the swamp of Blackspore. Zio Sunstrider was my father's grandfather, and through him my family derives its magic.

As a child of a wealthy merchant, I traveled most everywhere in Sacred Grove. I loved visiting Sanctuary, its capitol. We would always stay in the royal palace, in the apartments allocated to my father. As respectable as Dad was, he fell into temptation. He began to deal dirty, and turned Blackspore into his own fief.

I soon ran away. It was durring my time alone that I discovered my magic. Originally, I required spoken words and wands to do my work, but as time progressed I found that I needn't rely on them. With my talents, I traveled to Sanctuary so that I may start a new life.

At an early age, I founded Ravenwood, Inc. We started mainly with shipping and warehousing, but soon after I met Zio, it became a front for The Syndicate. With my wealth, The Syndicate was able to take back the war against dark forces.

So now, I invite you to read the tale of the great and powerful Zio Sunstrider. The beginning always seems like a good place to start!
