Why Can'T We Be Friends?
The founding of Hogwarts began with a pact between four separate individuals bound by a common goal: To teach the young witches and wizards that would one day shape the future. Thus, the four Houses were created, in order to appropriately sort out these children according to their attitudes and personalities. However, throughout the years, the Houses have become venomous towards one another- the blatant dislike or bullying of certain students because of where they are put, simply because their House isn't "popular" or "well-liked". Even the abilities of some students have been judged because of their House. Does no one question why some Houses have more students than others? It's blatantly obvious. The four founders not only agreed to start a school and teach together because they had a common goal, but because they were friends; friends that acknowledged each others differences and embraced them. Why can't we be the same? Each chapter dissects the four Houses as individuals, analyzing strengths, weaknesses, and why each is important.
