STARRY NIGHT
Chapter 1
The minute I got back from the librar I fell onto my bed. I had to listen to the two people who had been nicest to me.
since my first year. Ginny Weasly, and Cho Chang. They were fighting over Harry, and I didn't know who's side to
take. The only nice Ravenclaw that I knew or, the only nice Gryffindor in my year. And, on top of that, I had to try to
keep my cheery disposition while finding the right way to tell them that I didn't really care who got the guy and, who
ended up in tears. I sighed as I changed into my pajamas. I loved both of my friends equally, even if they didn't like
each other. And even so, neither of them even bothered with MY love life. I always had a crush on Neville, always.
He had no idea. I was about to nod off when, all of a sudden, a small something hit the window. I rushed to the said
window, and opened it. Out side, I found a little piece of floating paper, a lot like the ones used at the Ministry of
Magic. I grabbed it and looked an the writing, it was vaguely familiar. I wonder where I had seen it before. Anyway,
the note read as follows: Dearest Luna, I now you probably don't really like me but, I really like you. Meet me by the
black lake if you DO like me. -Anonymous. I wondered who that could be, not Neville. Wait, could it? I became a
little more curious so, I barley even got my shoes on. And, by the time I got outside, it was too late to go back to get
my coat, hat and, scarf. I ran out to the black lake as fast as I could. When I got there, I saw a picnic blanket laid out
but, the funny thing was, there wasn't any picnic food. Just a telescope. "Hello? Is anyone here I got your note and...
Neville?!" I couldn't tell if I was dreaming or not but if so, I never wanted to wake. "To be honest, I didn't think you'd
show up." "I wouldn't miss it for all the pudding in the world!" "Well, if you'd like to sit down," He gestured to the
blanket. "Oh yes, of course!" I was on a star gazing date with my crush of four years, and finally, finally I felt loved.
Soon after, I fell asleep with my head on his lap. He, apparently had carried me back to my room. How he managed
to get past the door and into the Ravenclaw dorms, is beyond me. But, the last thing I remembered before I fell
asleep, was how loved and special I felt as I looked up at that beautiful starry night.
