Dear diary,
Something AMAZING happened today! I think. I'm not sure. I think I want to go to Hogwarts but I'm quite scared. At least I know why I'm different now. I'm not weird. I'm completely normal. Oh, I do hope that this isn't a prank or a hoax. I didn't believe it at first but then I started to want it to be true so I kind of started to believe in it. Oh, I nearly forgot to mention what I'm so excited about! Silly me! Well, basically, I'm a witch. Not one of those evil witches who have huge warts on the end of their noses, but a nice witch. I'm going to go to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry to learn how to control my powers. I used to make odd things happen when I got angry and I knew it was me, though I tried to convince myself and everyone else that it was just a coincidence. Oh my gosh, I have so much to write about but I'm so sleepy and I have to get a good night's sleep ready for tomorrow. Oh yes! I have to go to a meeting tomorrow with the headmaster of Hogwarts so I know what it is and I'm sure I want to go. We'll have a tour of the entire school but it'll be empty as it's the summer holidays. I think it's a bit pointless really because I definitely want to go. I can't stand another year at school! All the other girls are so mean to me and they beat me up in the changing rooms because there are never any teachers around. Oh dear, I went off on a bit of a tangent there, didn't I? Goodnight, I better get some sleep now. I promise I'll update this tomorrow after the meeting.
