Trans Kid Gives (quite bad but relatable) Solutions to Gender Issues
written by Simon
Basically, Hogwarts is quite a gendered school. However, it doesn't have to be that way. It's pretty annoying to be transgender at all, and school is even worse. So, if you want to listen to a trans kid rant about gender inequality, you've come to the right place. Oh yeah I'll keep it PG-13. I will push the very limits of PG-13, but it'll stay there.

Bathrooms
Chapter 1
Yup. You guessed it. Of course, the first thing that I'm going to talk about is bathrooms. Are you kidding me? They are the most gendered places in schools. It's horrible! I just want to pee, but I have to choose between my birth gender and the bathroom that I'm extremely uncomfortable in. What is the need for gendered bathrooms? Hell if I know. I shouldn't have to choose between subjecting myself to extreme discomfort and possible assault or tearing my self-esteem to shreds. The only place in this godforsaken school that can be a gender-neutral bathroom is the Room of Requirement, and that's ages away from any classes.
Ah, what to do.
I've heard something from someone who heard it from someone else who says that the headmistress is trying to figure out how to get gender neutral bathrooms, but I feel like that's just rumors. But c'mon, we are in a school learning MAGIC. Can't we use that to make an extra place for those who don't feel comfortable at all using the gendered bathrooms? From a muggleborn's perspective, it seems like the wizarding world is really conservative. Most of you look down on people who are LGBTQ+ and keep everything gendered.
For a community who believe that muggles are the inferior race, they seem to be a hell of a lot more accepting of most people.
What the fuck is up with the wizarding world? You can't even use pencils and pens!
As for the bathroom issue, I don't have a solution. The title of this is really misleading. Sorry! It's going to turn into practically a draft of what I want to say to our headmistress.
Send me an owl if you have problems with the gender inequalities of this school. I'll probably include it.
