The Creek
Chapter 1
The Creek
I use to walk to the creek. The little creek next to Bags End. But now all it fuels is dread. The dread of the old feelings that are hidden and the dread of having lost an old friend. But walk there I must! For the sake of my wife and children who had been planning this day for a time. Now still with these feelings I walk. I walk past the old roads and where I once had dove into The Old Forest and met Tom Bombadil with my three friends. At here I stop and sing a song.
Hello old friend, hear this song
Let you and Goldberry dance all night long
Till the sun come up and the trees part
Let love dance in your heart
After this we parted with the Old Road and went to a place where I once had camped. At here I laugh for this is where the devilish Black Rider had stood chasing us. When a time had passed we parted ways with the old road and we strolled into the forest for the smell of pine was more delicious then fresh bread. As I walked I looked around and noticed an old tree that me and my friends had hid by to escape the Black Rider.
Later as the sun had reached over our heads we arrived at the river and sat down for lunch. I hardly ate myself for being here made my stomach twirl. But never the less, I ate for the sake of my health. So as I chewed memories of me and my freind walking would pass through my mind like ghosts of the dead. And after a few excuses I got up and walked to the creek where I went to a very special place. It sat at the edge of the creek and had a fallen log that my friend and I would sit on to fish. At this, sorrow filled my lungs and I, Frodo Baggins yelled.
"Where are you Bilbo!"
