“Wow.” Ruby Windflyer thought, closing the book in her hands with a small clap. “That was amazing.” She wished she had wings like the characters in the book. Sliding off of the roof, and onto her balcony, she stepped inside her room from the open window. Ruby set the book in her backpack to take back to school on Monday. “Ruby!” her mom called. “Make sure you have your things to go to Naomi’s. We are leaving in a half-an-hour!” “Alright mom!” Ruby called, walking over to her phone which sat on her nightstand. Tucking a piece of her reddish- brown hair behind her ear, she began to type-
“Hey! It’s Ruby. I was wondering if I need anything for your house. I love it there! Especially your backyard woods! We will have to be on the lookout for foxes and owls. Super cool animals! I am bringing my camera along. Say, are we making up another batch of wolf chow? I like how majestic they are when they come out of the woods. I’m so excited! Please respond quick so I can pack! See you in 30’!

It didn’t take long for Naomi to answer. Ruby quickly answered back: “Boots? Done and DONE. As for horses, I want Arimis, the one with the black coat and mane! And as for the party, I’ll bring Marshmallows and Pretzels, and PLENTY of Barbie Movies!
