World War III and the Third World War are names given to a hypothetical third worldwide large-scale military conflict subsequent to World War I and World War II. The term has been in use since the end of World War II.
North Korea is sending warning signs to the world.

“I think the world is more dangerous than it used to be 10 years ago.
“Since the Cold War, we have never been in this situation where things are so tense and then nobody knows what is happening.
“It would be dangerous for our environment, dangerous for the population because a weapon today is hundreds of times more powerful than those that were tested 45 years ago.
“We are closer [to a nuclear war], but my hope relies on the power of multilateral diplomacy.”
North Korea’s threat to the world “should be frightening”, Mr Zerbo added.
“My worst fear is sometimes when I wake up and have a feeling that despite all we do things seem to not be moving,” he said.
“It happens sometimes when you wake up and you see another test, and when you see the rhetoric.
“When you see that leaders are not finding solutions sometimes at the security council, that’s frightening and it should be frightening.”

President Donald Trump is set to travel to Asia in his bid to urge countries to continue applying pressure on the rogue state and its nuclear programmes.
Mr Trump will visit South Korea, Japan, China, Vietnam and the Philippines, but fears have been raised that the trip could trigger World War 3.
The US has deployed nuclear bombers to the Pacific ahead of the Asia tour.
