Taddit soared through the air, nervous, but know that his destination was far away. he flew as more bolts of magic flew past him. Blood roared in his ears. His heart was pounding, though he didn't know if it was because of the excitement, or the fear. The strange wizards and witches were gaining on him. He looked back....It looked like there were three of them. One of the witches pulled ahead and flew beside him. Taddit dove, but the witch kept pace. He began zigzagging, trying to lose the humans. The trailing witch cast another bolt of lightning, it exploded right behind him, slightly burning his tail feathers. He flew higher, viewing his destination. Taddit gasped as another bold barely missed him. He flew fast, faster than he had ever flown before. He was almost there. Just a little bit further.
