The youngling gazed around his new cage. It was much roomier than the one in the pet shop. He was still saying his new name over and over in his head; Taddit, Taddit, Taddit. It had a nice ring to it. He looked forward to his first night sleeping without the mewling of cats or the croaking of frogs. He also looked forward to his first message delivery. Oh, how wonderful it would be to stretch his cramped wings, and to feel the sun on his back. The cart had stopped, and his cage was lifted into the train. "You'll quite enjoy this, little Taddit." The wizard whose name he still hadn't learned said. Taddit gazed around the train car, eyes filled with wonder. They road silently, the gently thump of the car making the youngling sleepy. Suddenly, explosions were heard. Taddit looked out the window, surprised to see the back of the train in pieces. An ominous figure flew past on a broom, his face covered, wand at the ready. "Well, Taddit, looks like you've got your first mission." He smiled nervously. The train was now filled with the ominous figures. The wizard slowly opened the window and Taddit's cage. "I want you to take this," He whispered to the youngling, "To the Ministry of Magic. I had hoped we could make it there peacefully, but, obviously not." He stopped to look around their train car, "These people will be after this piece of paper. Take it, and go." Taddit didn't think twice, he grabbed the paper, and flew out the window. Just then, he heard more explosions right at his tail. He didn't dare look back.
