As the quartet start their new year at Hogwarts, they discovered that Dumbledore found out that Linda and Harry are not allowed to be together. Harry is not convinced, but Linda finds this REALLY suspicious. The quartet don't know why, but they get so worried (especially Harry and Linda) that the school might close down and never exist anymore. The quartet must find a way and work out how this might have happened all of sudden. So, the quartet plan a trip to the muggle school called Dagenham Park, Church Of England School to find out why both of them were forbidden to be together, but Harry and Linda have to watch out: whatever they do, Susanna's looking out to watch their EVERY move at the muggle school. Chapter 15 - The Break-Up
Chapter 15
"Albus, we need your help."
"We actually do, headmaster."
Albus motioned them in and he asked:
"What's the matter?"
"Well, it's Hermione... again. She's acting all loving to Harry and..." She paused in mid-sentence and swallowed the lump on her throat and gasped:
"She's flirting with him." She took hold of Harry's arm. Harry noticed this and started to caress her arm.
"Linda, I know that this is hard for you to bear and I understand. Listen, take Hermione to the hospital wing. Then, I'll cure her there and I'll let you know."
They nodded and left. They did what they were told and a few minutes later, she was cured.
"Hermy, you're OK!"
She went up to her and hugged her.
"We are so happy to know you're fine." Harry and Ron said, all together.
She smiled. They gathered round the HA and they had a meeting in The Duelling Room. When they arrived there, Linda began:
"Today, we'll only have a meeting on how to save my best friends because Susanna turned them to the Dark Side. We have to do this because, they'll lead us to the teachers who are cursed too. Now, we plan some ideas on how to get them and save them. So, any ideas?" Harry raised his hand up. She nodded at him.
"We might use the Truth Spell. That'll enable us to know where they are and to cure them."
"Good point sweetheart. Anyone?" Luna raised her hand too.
"We can use a Silencing Charm and the spell to tie them ropes, so if we can cure and save the teachers, they won't yell so we won't get caught."
"Excellent Luna. Any more suggestions?" Neville's hand went up to the air. Linda was surprised.
"Go ahead Neville."
"Well, I was thinking that, when we see the teachers, we should use a spell that'll make them believe that you and Harry are bond to be together. Doesn't that makes some sense?" Everyone was SO surprised to his suggestions that everyone was agreeing.
"Well, Neville, that's brilliant! You just gave the best idea of all, but, we'll use ALL of the ideas to save them and to make sure that they know that me and Harry are together."
A few minutes later, Linda said:
"It's time for lunch. Meeting closed. You're all dismissed."
They all rushed out of The Duelling Room.
Later, when they were having lunch, Linda fed Emma before eating with Harry. He gave her a piece of chicken to eat.
"Whoa, this chicken's good." Linda said, after grabbing it with her mouth.
"You'd reckon?" he asked.
"You taste it." she pointed.
He took a bite and he nodded, pleasingly.
"You're right. It's delicious!"
"I've got you babe." she said, mockingly. She leaned forward and pressed her lips against his. She turned to Hermione and asked:
"Would you help me take care of Emma please? I'm going out with Harry."
"Of course sis. I'll let Ginny know then." Hermione answered, smiling at her.
"Thank you." she beamed at her. "Please, be careful." she said, warningly.
When they finished lunch, they were heading to Hogsmeade.
When they arrived at Hogsmeade, Linda took Harry by the hand and they sat in a restaurant. She took his hand and said:
"Harry, thank you for coming with me. I really wanted to take some air about this..." she paused, looking at Harry's concerned face as he put his hand on her cheek.
"I know we have known each other for a few years now Harry. I really wanted to thank you on how you've treated me. I know I've not had the time to tell you, but, I love you so much that I can't let you go." She let a tear roll down her cheek. He used his thumb to wipe it off. She continued:
"Not to alarm you, but, I'm going to Dagenham Park, on my own. I'm not letting you stop me from doing this, but, I have to. I can't leave my friends like that."
She drank the butterbeer. When Harry took a sip as well, he said:
"Darling, I can't let you do this alone," he grabbed her hands and locked his fingers with her and continued, "don't you know what might happen to you? What if I lose you as well? What if something happens and I wasn't here? What if-"
"Harry!" she hissed. "Listen, I'm a powerful witch-"
"-who might also need her boyfriend-"
"-and I can do things myself, sometimes, without your help. Doesn't mean I hate you." she continued, without listening to him, but quickly said, looking at Harry's expression.
"I can't! I'm not ready to lose you. In fact, I-DON'T-WANT-TO!"
he hissed, pausing at every word.
"I have no choice. I have to. I'm sorry." Linda sighed.
"Fine! I try to protect you, but, you don't want to, do you? DO YOU?"
"But sweet-" she began, but he cut her off.
"Don't call me sweetheart. Besides, you can take care of Emma yourself!" As he stormed off, he stopped. Harry knew what Linda knew was coming.
"I'm done with you! I don't want to see you in my life EVER AGAIN!" He stormed off. After a while later, she left the restaurant, crying.
