Piper was just an ordinary girl....or at least that is what she liked to think. She had no parents, they had died in a car wreck, and she was raised by her big brother. Nearly 23 years older than her, her older brother was more like a parent than a big brother. What happens when Harry comes into the mix? Diagon Alley
Chapter 2
Piper's P.O.V
"I just got my Hogwarts letter!" I said. "That's great!" he said, his face filled with pride. "Let's go to Diagon Alley!" he said. He knows how much I love Diagon Alley. I grab my supplies list, and go downstairs to use the floo.

When we arrive, it is very busy. Frantic parents, with their amused children in toe. I see a poster and it reads: 'SIRIUS BLACK, MASS MURDERER, ESCAPE FROM AZKABAN!' I turn around to ask Remus who he is, just to see that he was nowhere to be found. "Remus?" I ask nervously. Then, a boy with platinum blonde hair bumps into me, and knocks me to the ground. "Um, hello?" I ask, not sure what to say. "Ew, this filthy squib just got her germs on me!" he said snidely. "I'm right here, you know!" I say angrily, trying getting up. He gets up to, and pulls out his wand. "Petrifacus Totalu-" "Stupefy!" I heard. I closed my eyes, and here a thud on the ground. I open my eyes and see the mean boy on the ground, and a boy with black hair and green eyes in front of me. A girl with bushy brown hair comes over to me, followed by a red headed boy. "Are you alright?" the girl asked me. "Uh, yeah, I guess. I'm Piper, nice to meet you." I say. "Oh, excuse my manners, my name is Hermione." Hermione gestured to a the boys beside her. "This is Ron Weasley," she said, pointing to the read head, "and this is Harry." she said, pointing to the black haired one. "Hullo." Ron said. "Nice to meet you. Did that slimeball hurt you?" Harry asked. "Oh, no. You came just in time. He did say some pretty things about me, though." I say, shifting uncomfortably. "What did he say, Piper?" Ron angrily asked me. "Oh, he called me a squib, and filthy." I say, trying to hide my hurt, but failing misreably. "Oh, he is just a git. Not worthy of your thoughts." Hermione said. "Thanks!" I smiled warmly at her. "Oh! Remus is gonna kill me!" I exclaim. "Who is Remus?" Harry asks me. "Oh, my older brother. I lost him shortly before the mean kid showed up." I say. "I've gotta go! But I will see you at Hogwarts!" I say to my new friends. They all smile and wave at me. I wave back and run down the cobblestone path. I see Remus near Flourish and Berts, looking worried. "Remus!" I exclaim, and run to hug him. "Oh, Pippy, I thought I lost you!" he said. We head into a bookstore and I instantly become engrossed in all of the books.
