Werewolf's Sister
written by Hayley Solace
Piper was just an ordinary girl....or at least that is what she liked to think. She had no parents, they had died in a car wreck, and she was raised by her big brother. Nearly 23 years older than her, her older brother was more like a parent than a big brother. What happens when Harry comes into the mix? This is Piper Lupin's unusual 1st year at Hogwarts.(I don't own Harry Potter. Rights go to J.K rowling.)

Midnight Flight
Chapter 14
Harry and I walk back into the Common Room and I walk over to Ginny. I sit beside to her and say, "Hey, Ginny. How was your summer?" She looks at me, her eyes bright, as she recalls her summer. I smile and listen intently, hearing all about Egypt and Ron's 'wicked, evil, rodent', Scabbers. "Oh, look at the time, we should be getting to bed. Are you coming?" she asked, getting up from the couch we were sitting on. "Oh no.....I will be there later." I say, remembering about Zee's notes. Cassie must had gone to bed, because after Ginny, no one was left in the Common Room. I grab my bag, and check my magical timetable. It's 11:55! I run out of the Common Room, fully aware that it was after curfew. I sneak outside and into the Forbidden Forest. I stand behind a tree and whisper, "Lumos." A light appears, and I walk until I find a small hut. I knock on the big, wooden door softly and it opens. I see Zee's platinum blonde curls and her mysterious grey eyes. "Hey, Piper Lupin." she says softly, fiddling with her green and silver tie. "Hello, Zee. You can call me Piper..." I say, walking into the hut. On the inside, it was decorated with various flowers. "Oh!" I exclaimed, as I saw a small fairy fly by, followed by a bowtruckle. "Yes, we have many creatures here..." Zee chuckled at my surprise. "How did you set this up? I thought we weren't allowed in the forest?" I inquired, as a Cornish Pixie landed on my finger. "Yeah, I kinda snuck out here on the first day and these creatures followed me. I guess that is why I'm in Slytherin..." she chuckled, and I remembered how heartbroken she looked when sorted. "Why were you sad? Don't all Malfoy's get in Slytherin?" I asked softly. A small tear rolled down her cheek as she reminisced. "Oh, I was hoping for something else. I know my big brother wanted me to be in Slytherin, so did my family, but I was hoping for so much more. To be different......to not fall into my family's footsteps." I nodded in understanding. "Do you want to be my friend?" I asked, picking a bowtruckle out of her hair. "That would be great! I just thought you were so awesome, for what you did to Uncle Sev that I should invite you here..he was shocked when you walked out.....he just stood there with his mouth wide open! I have never in my life seen that happen!" she said excitedly. "Hey, I have a few friends that would love this place! Do you think I could introduce you, and then we could become friends, and this could be our hideout!" I exclaimed, giggling. "Of course! I can't wait to meet them, but it is pretty late, and we should get back!" At that, we ran swiftly back to the castle and bid goodnight. I raced to the Common Room, and I ran up the stairs, tripping over a few. I tip-toed across the dorm and snuggled under my blankets. An exciting week, huh?
