Common room
Chapter 1
The Gryffindor common room is located in Gryffindor Tower, the entrance is located on the seventh floor and is guarded by the portrait of the Fat Lady, wearing a pink dress. She allows entry only if the key is correct (changes regularly). Behind her is a large room full of large closets, tables, and a blackboard where students find news, announcements, lost notices, etc. A window looks out at the grounds of the castle, and a large fireplace overlooks the wall. It is very comforting and Gryffindor students come together to study, celebrate or relax.
The common room is where celebration parties usually take part after a Gryffindor victory in Quidditch, or when Harry Potter successfully completed a stage of the Three Wise Tournament. Here was the first kiss between Harry and Ginny after the victory at Quidditch in 1997. The fireplace was used several times by Sirius Black to communicate with Harry while fleeing the Ministry of Magic.
There are two ladders, each leading to the men's and women's dormitory respectively. The stairs of the girls' bedrooms are delighted to become a slide if a boy tries to climb through them, this does not happen on the other stairs, since it was understood that girls were more reliable than boys, so Hermione I could go up to the boys' dormitory.
