Chapter 7
The Ravenclaw Quidditch Team is one of the Quidditch teams of the four Hogwarts houses, a school of magic and sorcery.
History
1992-93
The Ravenclaw campaign of the Quidditch Cup was interrupted due to attacks on Muggle-born and the reopening of the Chamber of Secrets. It is not known what position they left this year.
1993-94
Ravenclaw was in third position, above Hufflepuff, but surpassed by Slytherin and Gryffindor.
1995-96
Ravenclaw lost the final game of the season against Gryffindor, who won the Quidditch Cup.
1996-97
This year the captain of the team was Cho Chang. Gryffindor won Ravenclaw in the final game with 450 to 140 to win the Cup.
Uniform, equipment and security articles
The uniforms of Ravenclaw Quidditch team are blue and bronze, by the colors of their house. The batters carry a small black bat (similar to baseball bats) in order to divert the Bludgers during matches. The Guardian has gloves.
In general, only protective gloves and knee pads are used. In times of storms, some players wear protective goggles. However, the Guardian may wear shoulder guards, armor, and a large helmet.
