Half-blood Hufflepuff
written by Brielle Evans
Brielle was a half-blood and she was a Hufflepuff. Here is her story of being proud of her house and her blood status. You don't have to be a Gryffindor to be brave, a Slytherin to be cunning or a Ravenclaw to be a good student. Hopefully Brielle's story changes the way you view people. As a side-note I am not saying that Hufflepuff is better than the other houses. They are all equally great and I shall try not to portray any of them in a unworthy manner.

Quidditch
Chapter 4
Quidditch, the name just rolled off her tongue. This was the most exciting thing to happen to her. The Hufflepuff Quidditch team wanted Brielle! The first day she had rode her firebolt she had known that flying was for her. The Hufflepuff Quidditch team captain, Marissa Digory had seem her flying and asked her if she would consider trying out a year early. She walked to the field a little nervous, would she make the team? "Hey there Brielle," Marissa grinned, "come on over." "What position were you interested in?" "I wanted to be a chaser, but if it's not available that's ok." "Well your in luck, Dillan Reeve graduated this past year and we need to fill his place." "Go show us what you got." She lifted off the ground and shot forward. "Go for the quaffle!" She turned to grab it and then sped away toward the goal. Marissa came skimming toward her. Thinking desperately she spiraled straight toward her dropping at the last second. Catching Marissa completely by surprise she managed to score. "Sorry Marissa," she mumbled, realizing how dumb it was to make the captain look stupid. "For what," Marissa laughed, "someone who can pull a move like that I want on my team." "You mean...." She stammered. "Congrats Brielle, your Hufflepuffs new chaser."
