A very dangerous thing to do
Chapter 5
They hurried to the third floor. At first, they saw nothing. Just an empty corridor. "I wonder if that girl was just playing a trick on us." Anne said. "No. She wasn't playing any trick." Peter said with confidence. "How can you be so confident about it?" Amanda asked. "Because - look." Peter replied pointing ahead. All of them looked where Peter was pointing.
There, thought Amanda. There it is.
The troll was standing there, facing back. It turned back. Amanda, Anne , Peter and Andrew opened the door of a classroom that was just next to them and went in. They slammed the door shut. Then they could hear loud footsteps coming towards the door. "Oh no. It's coming for us now." Anne said. "What exactly should we do now?" asked Andrew. "Well, time to test our talent." Amanda said. "What!?" Anne exclaimed. "Meaning?" Andrew asked. "She means we're gonna fight the troll. Right?" Peter asked. Amanda nodded her head.
They threw open the door of the classroom and stood facing the troll. Amanda pointed her wand at the troll.
"Verdimillius!" she said. The troll winced. " Quick! Do something!" Anne screamed. Peter said, "Stupefey!" The troll froze. Just then, Professor Mcgonagall arrived there with two other teachers.
"What have you done?" One of the teachers asked. "We fought the troll." Andrew said. "Well, you have been very brave to do so. I award Gryffindor 20 points for your bravery. But it was a very dangerous thing to do." Professor Mcgonagall said. "Now go to whatever class you have."
