After a Troll
Chapter 4
The next morning, Amanda woke up and found Anne sitting on her bed, rubbing her eyes. "Morning, dude." Amanda said. "Morning." Anne said sleepily. "Can't wait to start learning again." Amanda said. "Yup." Anne replied.
The both of them dressed up and headed down for breakfast in the Great Hall. The boys were there. Peter was reading a book. He was a bookworm and is usually found reading something or the other. Andrew was talking to another guy. "Morning!" Amanda and Anne chorused when they saw the boys. "Hi." Peter said without looking at them. "Good morning. We were waiting for you." Andrew said. "And Peter is reading as always." Amanda said. Peter closed his book and smiled at Amanda. "I always like it when people say that to me." "Same old reading-self. Peter you're always found with a book." Anne said. "Thank you." Peter said.
They began eating their breakfasts. "Here are the owls!" Andrew said as a flock of owls swooped into the the Great Hall.
"Ugh! We've got double Astronomy!" Anne said, going through her timetable. "Bad luck." Amanda sighed. All of them didn't like Astronomy. Suddenly someone shouted. A Hufflepuff girl came running into the Great Hall, shouting " HELP! TROLL! IN THE THIRD FLOOR!" everybody started talking at once as the girl went over to her house table.
"Silence!" Professor Mcgonagall shouted over all the noise. "All of you may head to your classes. I want any teachers to help me tackle this troll. Rest of you get to your classes." She said. Everyone left the Great Hall.
"Anne! Peter! Andrew!" Amanda had a sudden idea. "What?" Peter asked. "Amanda, we've got Tranfiguration now-"
"I think we ought to see this troll." Amanda said, much to everyone's surprise. "Are you gone nuts?" Andrew asked. "We couldn't possibly do that." He said. "Hey, but it's not a bad idea. I've always wanted to see a troll." Peter said. "So shall we go?" Amanda asked. "If you insist." Anne said.
Then the four of them went to the third floor to search a troll. Amanda thought this was really exiting. But Anne was really scared. The boys felt that they shouldn't be doing this, but it was also exiting.
