The Longhorn has dark green scales and long golden horns. It uses these horns to gore its prey before roasting it. When these horns are crushed to powder they are highly valued potion ingredients. Their native territory has become a important dragon reservation. All wizards can come and study a variety of dragons at a close range. The Longhorn has been the subject of an intensive breeding programme because the Longhorn population has dwindled. This is mostly because they are hunted for their horns which has now become a Class B tradeable material.
