The Ridgeback resembles to Hungarian Horntail but instead of tail spikes it has jet black ridges along its back. It is very aggressive to other Norwegian Ridgebacks. The are one of the rarer dragon breeds. The Ridgeback is known to attack large land mammals and it will also feed on water dwelling animals. There was a report in 1802 said a Ridgeback was seen carrying off a whale calf. The eggs are black and the young dragons develop the ability to breath fire earlier than most dragons. It usually takes between one and three months.
