My journal for my Magical Transportation class. This contains all the essays I turned in, so they'll know if you plagiarize it. I'm publishing it because why the heck not. Maybe this will inspire you or something. I don't know.

Portkey Journal (Y3L7)

Chapter 5
When my team gathered around the hippogriff figurine, we decided to grab the portkey on the count of three. I counted, "1... 2... 3!" We all touched the portkey and I felt a pulling in my navel towards the portkey. I had touched the portkey with my elbow just to experiment. That was a bad decision. My elbow was wretched in front of me and it was very uncomfortable. The wind was blowing my hair in my face and there were colors in an almost tye-dye design. Suddenly it began slowing down and stopped. I crashed on the ground, as did some of my fellow classmates. We had landed in the hippogriff paddock. After we picked ourselves up, we completed the task of retreiving the broom statue and counted down to grab the portkey again. This time I touched my finger to it and, while it was still uncomfortable, it was much better. After we landed in the classroom, we gave the statue to Professor Riley and received chocolate for being th first team back.

I had never used a portkey before, but I would use it again. This is a great way for a large group to travel together without Muggles spotting it. It isn't the most comfortable way of traveling, but nothing really is super comfortable, especially for long distances. While there is also the risk of portkey-sickness, using a portkey every now and then is a great way for a large group to travel a long distance.
