Slitheren
Chapter 3
People in Slitheren are smart and clever Not all Slitherens are bad some slitherens are very nice. Slitherens are smart and cunning good for planing. The Slitheren symbol is a snake and most people think that snakes are scary and mean just because some are poisonous that is the same with Slitherens people think they are all scary and mean just because some of them are dark wizards but just because all dark wizards are Slitheren not all slitherens are Dark wizards.
Interview with a Slitheren:
Me:What would you tell someone about Slitheren?
Slitherin: Usually when I tell people I'm from Slytherin, they think that I'm in the bad house where everyone is evil. But it's not at all like that. Just because all the bad people were from Slytherin, doesn't mean that all Slytherins are bad. Our qualities are ambition, cunning, leadership and resourcefulness. I don't see an "evil" in there. In fact there are amazing and good wizards from Slytherin. Not to mention the great Merlin himself was a Slytherin.
Me: what do you think about gryphondors ?
Slitheren:Oh its okay. I think Gryffindors are good people and many of my closest friends are in that house as well. However Slytherins don't hate them, they hate us. All the houses think that we are bad and when asked descriptions of us, they say meaner things . And we're the mean ones? Gryffindors are brave, yes, but Slytherins know when to be brave and when to keep ourselves out of trouble.
Me: last question what would you tell other Slitherens?
Slitheren:To stop thinking that they've been sorted into the evil house and see the beauty of Slytherin. If they were sorted into this house, then there is clearly a reason why. Slytherin will help them make their decisions and cultivate a path of success. I would also tell them to appreciate the house they are in and learn to love it. I was once upset to be in Slytherin but then I saw the wonder in it and now I'm proud to be in this house :)
