Chapter 2
It was a sunny day in 40's day Oklahoma. Alexia was looking around her high school. She was NOT in a good mood. Alexia knew everyone hated her. Everyone had scowled her and thought she was a German spy, and also wanted her to die. People called her a "spoiled brat", "German child" and horrible things like that, or maybe even swear words, anything to emotionally hurt Alexia. When she walked into the school, everyone ignored her, especially boys. Their girlfriends would stick by their side and shudder and scowl at Alexia when she passed by. Then, Alexia looked at a familiar-looking girl. It was Alexandra Wilton. She was the second most popular student and was in 12th grade. Boys flirted with Alexandra, and she would sometimes cheat on her boyfriends. Alexia didn't care because it was a secret Alexandra would often keep from others, except her friends. Alexia wasn't Alexandra's friend because she never told Alexia about her love secret. Alexia walked up to Alexandra and looked at her. "Hi." Alexia said, a little shyly. Alexandra looked at Alexia in almost a hostile way. "What are YOU doing here, German child?" She asked. Alexia looked down, hurt at her words. "Oh, I just wanted to see if you would want to be friends." She said weakly, looking away. Many of Alexandra's friends looked at Alexia, pointed at her, and started laughing. Soon, all the students were laughing at Alexia. She looked at everyone and immediately rushed out of the school.
Alexia began to cry. Why was everyone treating her this way!? Alexia had a secret too, and she wouldn't want to say it, and if the school knew, she would be seriously bullied and told to die. Alexandra looked at Alexia. "Why would I want to be friends with an idiot like YOU?" She asked, as Alexia ran away.
Something was definitely not right. Alexandra laughed evily and strutted off with a bunch of boys chasing her and some students taking pictures of her.
