After eating breakfast (Bacon and eggs) Lizzie and the twins headed to the Practice Room. Since most people were at the lake right now the Practice Room had no one in it. The room held some practice dummies, targets, and small things like pillows and paper clips. The latter were probably used for levitation. The Room also had a floor to ceiling bookshelf with titles they had never seen like Challenges in Charming, Transfiguration Today, and Jinxes for the Jinxed. It also held The Standard Book of Spells Vol. 1-7 and A Beginner's Guide to Transfiguration.
Lizzie pulled the Standard Book of Spells off the shelf. She flipped to the Wand Lighting charm. "This one is probably the easiest." Peyton said over her shoulder. "Ok then.." She pointed her wand spun it counter clockwise and said, "Lumos." The tip of the wand lit up. "I think I did it!" exclaimed Lizzie. "Well it is the easiest." pointed out Peyton "True." replied Lizzie. She then said "Nox" and the light extinguished.
She flipped through the book looking for a harder spell. "This one is the Fire Making charm." said Sienna. "Let's try it." "We don't have anything to set fire to." Lizzie reminded her. Suddenly there was a fire pit. Lizzie grinned "More magic." she said. Sienna pointed his wand and said "Incendio." A weak flame sputtered out the end of his wand. "It's not like we've had practice yet so, we won't always get it." reminded Peyton. "I guess." muttered Sienna. Then she tried again and produced a small flame. "Nice job." said Lizzie. Then Peyton tried. She got similar results.
Then Lizzie tried. She pointed her wand and said "Incendio" As the twins did. She felt a rush of energy and closed her eyes. She heard Sienna screaming. Her eyes snapped open to find something amazing and.. scary at the same time. A thick spout of flames were flowing steadily out the end of her wand. "How do I stop it?!" "I don't know!" shouted Peyton who was holding the book. 5 wizards in long red robes rushed in but, also a hawk swooped down at the same time. “Natsu!?" she yelled flames setting fire to every thing. The hawk swooped down with his beak open. "Watch out!" she screamed. But, the bird ignored her and dived through the flames. The flames seemed to be getting smaller. She looked and saw the bird ABSORBING the flames. "What is that?!" One of the wizards yelled. "Don't know! Never seen one!" But the lady in the pet shop........ "What's happening I thought it was just a normal hawk!" Yelled Sienna. Lizzie tried to answer but, the fire suddenly formed a wall around her. "Lizzie!" Peyton yelled.
The hawk flew in and she heard a voice. A song it seemed. Scorpio somehow lifted her up. She remembered thinking, ‘Scorpio looks a lot larger. In fact he looks as big as a truck.' before fainting from the heat.
