Lizzie pulled a letter out of the mail box. It was addressed to her in emerald ink. Hmmm.... what's this? She didn't know then what she was. Send me feedback and ideas. Also, tell me if you see something wrong with the plot or grammar. The cover art is not mine.

Chapter 4
She saw two familiar figures sitting on a bench with velvet seats. "Peyton!? Sienna!?" she yelled confused. "Lizzie! your a witch?!" asked Peyton excitedly. "Your witches?" Lizzie asks. "Yup! Pigeon witches!!! yells Sienna in only a way she could. "I'm so glad! Are you also going to Hogwarts?" "Yep!" yelled Peyton so loudly that a few people outside looked at them curiously. They bought their wands from an old woman who always stared at them for a few minutes before picking a wand and letting them try it. Peyton got a wand that was 12 inches, made of rowan wood and had a thestral tail hair core. Sienna's was 11 inches, spruce, and had unicorn hair as a core. When Lizzie tried a wand that worked perfectly for her the woman stared at her oddly. "Is something wrong" asked Lizzie. "No nothing at all...." answered the woman. Lizzie wasn't so sure "It's just the wand that chose you has immense power due to the fact both the wood and core are are quite powerful and when mixed together creates a super wand." "Wha.. what!?" The wand was 12 inches, sakura (also known as cherry) wood, and had a core of thunderbird tail feather. "I have a feeling you'll do great things, young one. They paid and got out of the shop fast as possible.
When they finally finished they went to a store called Katie Koester's Robes. They headed inside and got their work robes, hat, gloves, and cloaks. Afterward's they went to Smith's Books. They talked to the owner Mrs. Smith and she summoned all their books and put them in bags. After paying they got some ice cream at Unland's Frozen treats. They then went to The Potion Place. While they were there a stack of cauldrons fell on Lizzie and the owner, Mrs. Walker, apologized and let them have their supplies free. Eventually they were carrying so much that all the parents whipped out there wands and levitated the supplies. They got telescopes and then headed to the last location.
You could say Crazy Marian's Pet Palace was.... interesting. Or you could tell the truth and call it the absolutely weirdest thing ever seen. It was painted yellow, green, and blue stripes. The walls were stacked with a few dozen cages. Some of them held mice and rabbits while others, held owls and different birds of prey. The woman standing at the desk was even weirder. She had brown hair so tangled it seemed as if it had never in her life been brushed. She wore camouflage and hiking boots. On top of her head was a hat that looked like a black swan. When they got closer they saw it wasn't a hat, but a large swan sitting on her head. It hopped off and squawked, "CUSTOMERS!" "Thank you Macao that's enough" said the odd woman.
"What may I do for you today Misses? she spoke addressing the girls. "Um... we were looking for pets to bring to school" said Lizzie shyly. The woman seemed to sense her shyness and said "Oh no need to be shy dear. So pets to bring to school? Well we've got many birds to carry letters. We also have cats and toads and a variety of other animals. Your free to look around." Lizzie walked around the walls searching for nothing in particular. She spotted a few bunnies and thought 'Aw how cute!' "Be careful dear those are flesh eating rabbits!" 'Oh' she thought 'not getting one of those' she moved on. She saw a hawk and stepped closer. He was currently eating a dead animal. "Mom! Dad! Can we get these pigeons?" Sienna yelled. "Sure!" replied the twins father. "Ooh" Said the lady " Those are magical pigeons! They can use morse code!" "COOL!" said Peyton loudly.
Lizzie looked back at the hawk. It didn't seemed to be magical but, on further inspection she saw a fiery aura around it. It ate ravenously. Then it did something curious. It looked at Lizzie and stared into her eyes. Then he glowed! Actually glowed! Lizzie thought she was imagining this. But the lady said, seemly knowing what she was thinking "That's Leo" "Mom" said Lizzie ", Can I have him?" "I don't see why not" replied her mother. The lady bustled over. "Leo is a fire hawk." She grabbed the cage from the hook on which it was hanging and she also grabbed the two pig reference)eon's cages. "They should get used to you quickly. The pigeons eat only oats and the occasional insect. The hawk can catch their own food. Would you like to buy some oats now?" "Sure." said the twins mother.
While her mom was paying an employee who had just showed up the woman whispered to Lizzie, "You wondered what happened with the happened with the hawk." "Y..Yes ma'am." "Leo is an extremely powerful creature. He glowed because he chose you. He only choses witches or wizards whom he sees something special in." Lizzie pondered this remembering the strange thing the lady in the wand shop said. Her mom finished paying a few moments later and the lady said, "Thank you! Come again!"
