I ran downstairs really quickly because I was SUPER excited to go to Grandpa's and Grandma's farm. When I cam down, Mom was in the kitchen. That was perfect, because I need to talk to her.
"Hey Mom! Can I ask you something?" I said.
"What is it honey?"
I pulled out the two dresses, "Which one should I wear to Grandpa and Grandma's farm. This one?" I held up the black one with the white stripes. "Or this one?" I help up the teal one.
"Um.. about that, you aren't going to the farm."
We aren't going?? But why?? "Why can't we go Mom?" I asked.
"I never said that the rest of us weren't going." Mom said.
What did I do wrong now? This better just be a joke. "But I can't stay home alone for 1 night all by myself."
"That's right. You won't be by yourself. Elizabeth is staying woth you."
"WHAT??? NO!!!"
