Chapter 5
Setting-
Katie's mom is driving her and Rose home from school.
"Where's Elizabeth?" I ask.
"She texted a while ago. She's studying at a friend's house." Mom replies.
"What friend's house? I didn't know she had friends." I say.
"Some boy in her class named Matthew." Mom tells us.
"Oooh, Rose!" I squeal.
"What?" Rose asks, taking out her ear buds.
"Elizabeth got herself a boyfriend!" I tell her.
"She what?!" she screeches.
"Girls, that's enough." Mom says.
"I still don't believe it." I whisper to Rose.
