At school I was known as "That girl spilled her lunch all over the principal"

Yes that is all true. On my first day at my new school in 5th grade I was really excited. I speed walked to try to get to the "girls" table. On my way, I tripped over a chair leg.

That's when it all went wrong. My lunch tray fell out of my hands and spilled all over the person in front of me. And guess who that person was? The principal, of all the people it could have been.
Soon everyone in the cafeteria was looking. The principal forgave me and told me to walk the next time. But that's why I am known as "That girl spilled her lunch all over the principal"

Back to present-

"Hey!" I hear someone yell. I turn around to see who it is. Great, it's Matthew, like our school's most cool guy. He's in my class. I had never talked to him before this. I'm nervous.

"What?" I ask.

"Aren't you "That girl spilled her lunch all over the principal"?" he asks.

Great, he brings this up. "Yes I am, but call me Elizabeth." I tell Matthew.

"Ok, so Elizabeth, I was wondering if you wanted to study for that science test tomorrow together?" he asks me.

"Um, sure." I reply nervously.

"How about my house? I heard you have 4 other siblings" Matthew suggests.

"Sounds great, see ya!" I say.

I didn't know it would be that easy to talk to him. For a second I thought I wouldn't be able to say anything.
