Chapter 1
Hello. My name is Alicia Patterson. As you may know, I LOVE animals. Though I'm pretty young, I'm an employee at St. Francis of Assisi Zoo, located in Chicago. My job is to rescue and take care of animals, and mostly I get to take care of my favorite animal: The timber wolf. These creatures are precious to our land and they help other animals too. You might think my job is easy, but not until when I get a call from my boss that an omega wolf was badly injured by his packmates.
