Chapter 5
Marlene slept for five hours after she'd healed Regulus.
-She was walking around the base.All she could see was dead body's. She heard someone call out to her and ran to their side."You left us.You're the reason we're all dead." Sirius had said as he let out his last breath."Sirius no!Sirius please!" Marlene cried his name until she couldn't speak. "Please!" She sobbed silently pressing her head to a dead Sirius's chest. She could feel tears run down her face.-
Marlene woke up immediately.It was only 2:00 in the morning. She felt her face.It was wet but not from tears but from sweat. "It was just a nightmare.* She whispered to herself pushing her hair off her face. She heard something drop. Marlene jumped from fright and fell off her bed. She got up and felt for her wand. She grabbed the handle and murmered "Lumos." A light appeared at the end of her wand. She exited her room and followed the sound where the item had dropped. Apparently she was the only one awake besides whoever dropped the item. Marlene followed the sound into the library on the third floor. She opened the door and peeked through an area without books. The person looked up from their book."Who's there?" He asked.Apparently he heard Marlene. He got up and searched the rows of books. Marlene extinguished her light thinking he had seen it. She thought she heard them coming her way so she stood up from her squatting position and ran to her right. She knew it was a mistake because she had run into someone or something and fell to the floor. Her wand flew out of her hand. She searched the ground desperately trying to find it. Giving up Marlene dove behind a bookshelf and sat down. She heard the person pick up her wand. She scooted deeper into her hiding spot behind the bookshelf. "Marlene?" The voice asked. Marlene's heart began to beat faster.She tried to calm her breathing but couldn't. The person knew her name. She got up and climbed to the top of the shelf. She moved to where she could see the figure but still couldn't tell who it was because of the dark."Petrificus Totalus." The voice whispered. They aimed their wand at Marlene and she rolled off the side of the shelf landing with a thud. The person searched the rows until they found a stunned Marlene. They muttered the counter charm and Marlene began to move. "I'm so sorry." It was Regulus. He turned his light on and examined Marlene. Her nose began to bleed. She sat up with a confused expression on her face. "Regulus?What are you doing I'm the library at 2 in the morning?" She asked walking over to sit down. She sat down and felt under her nose."Sorry about that." Regulus said. "Is it broken?" Marlene asked feeling around her nose. "Yeah." Regulus said quietly."I'm sorry Marlene.I really am." "I know Regulus.Now answer me.Why are you in the library at 2 in the morning?" She asked. "I was trying to find out what had happened because the Dark Lord wouldn't tell me anything." He said. "Why are you awake at 2 in the morning?" He said. It was his turn to ask. "Nightmare." She said getting up. He did the same thing. "About?" "First let's go get me a rag and heal my nose.Then I'll explain it." Marlene said walking down to the kitchen. She grabbed a rag and poured some hot water on it. "Do you know the healing charm?" She asked Regulus holding the rag to her nose.He stared at her,"No I don't know the charm." He said sarcastically. Marlene stared at him like he was an idiot."Of course I know the healing charm!" He said bringing out his wand. He aimed it at Marlene's broken nose a muttered the charm. Marlene wiped the rest of the blood from her nose and threw the rag in the sink."So...?"
