Chapter 16
Marlene woke up to the tapping if an owl at 7:00 in the morning.Marlene changed into a blue shirt quoting'Think if you were to die tomorrow.Is it really worth being upset over?' and gray slacks. She opened the window and took the letter from the owl and read it.
Dear Marlene,
Please meet me at the docks of the black lake.
R.A.B
Marlene wondered who sent this.She had never seen anyone sign with RAB.Marlene assumed now since the note hadn't arrived with a time.She apparated to the entrance of Hogwarts and walked the grounds.She found herself on the quidditch pitch.She smiled and walked into the changing room and grabbed a broom. She walked back out and kicked off.She always enjoyed the quidditch games. She flew around the pitch and flew down just a bit. She stood up surfer style and let hair blow behind her. She hadn't noticed someone flying behind her copying her.They spun over her laughing."Keep up can you?" It was Regulus. "Didn't know you could fly." Marlene smirked speeding next to Regulus. He smiled and sped faster than her."Very competitive?" Marlene asked sarcastically. Regulus shrugged causing Marlene to laugh. She flew out of the quidditch pitch and over the Black Lake. Regulus flew after her. She had a sad look on her face and watched as the sun went down. "You alright Mars?" Regulus asked flying next to her. "Yeah just a bit depressed." Marlene said lost in thought. "What happened?" "When I was staying in my room and fussing over myself I received a letter.It was from my dad." She said sighing. "My dad doesn't want me to come back home when school starts.Not even for holidays." She said looking down. "Why?" Regulus asked frowning. "He sort of disowned me in a way.Fenwick visited my family and told them I had known my brother was going to die that I was a disgrace for not telling them." She said. "Which Brother?" "Max.The night before I received the letter I dreamed it except I was the one who killed him." Regulus looked frightened. "Marlene I'm sorry.Are they at least letting you to his funeral?" Regulus asked. "Yeah.But I'm a bit afraid to go alone after what they think of me now." She admitted. "If you'd like I could go with you." He said. "Yeah.That'd be nice." Regulus kissed her and then smiled."See you soon."
