Marlene appeared in Regulus's room.She looked around but he wasn't there.Marlene headed to the library but didn't find him there.Instead she found a girl crying. Marlene walked over to the girl."What's wrong?" Marlene asked. "That Slytherin boy just called me a mudblood." The girl said looking up. "Did he have grey eyes,brown shoulder length hair, and was 6 foot two?" Marlene asked. "I think so.He was mad about a girl that had gone to do something stupid." The girl said. "Well I'm Marlene Mckinnon.If you need to talk to someone you can't talk to me." Marlene said as she held out her hand. "I'm Hermione.Hermione Granger." The girl replied. "Nice to meet you know I have to go find that Slytherin." Marlene said leaving. She apparated to the entrance of Hogwarts and walked the rest of the way until she found Regulus sitting on a branch of the beech tree.Marlene walked over there until she was making eye contact with Regulus."Why?" Marlene asked. "Marlene I'm sorry. Just hear me out." Regulus said jumping down. "You could've helped me.Why?Why wouldn't you.I almost killed Sirius." Marlene said. Regulus stared at her in shock. "I-I didn't know." Regulus said astonished. "Why wouldn't you help me." Marlene asked upset. "I-I didn't want to hurt you.Marlene I'm not all that professional yet." He said sighing. "Why?I thought was what Slytherins did to blood traitors." Marlene said. "Because...." Regulus looked like he was about to explode. "Because I like you Marlene." He said not making eye contact. It was Marlene's turn to be astonished. "Oh um..." Marlene couldn't find any words. "See.This is why I wouldn't tell you.Because Gryffindors and Slytherins are enemies." Regulus said dropping his shoulders. "Not true." Marlene said. "We get along just fine." Regulus looked at her and then smiled. "There is one problem though." Marlene said. Regulus stared into space. "You're stilling calling muggle-borns mudblood." She said. "Oh you heard about that." Regulus said rubbing the back of his neck. "Yeah." They just stared at each other which made Marlene heat up. After a while Regulus said,"So you want me to get Fenwick out of your head?" Regulus asked. "How exactly?" "Well I enter your mind and from there I find Benjy.Once I find him I start haunting him and them we can haunt him in reality as well." Regulus said. "Ok.Lets go then." Regulus entered Marlene's mind. "Woah!" Marlene exclaimed "This is so cool." "Yeah.Now think a memory with Benjy in it." Regulus said
Marlene remembered the one when she punched Benjy. Regulus saw it too."Nice punch." "Thanks." "Ok now imagine a door to that memory." Marlene did as she was told and they walked through the door and found themselves looking at Benjy's memories. "Stay here." Regulus said stepping through one of Benjys memories. He can back out a few minutes later. "What you do?" Marlene asked. "Make him relive his worst nightmares." Marlene laughed at the thought. "Ready to go?" He asked holding out his hand. "Yep." Marlene took it and they apparated back into reality. "That was cool." Marlene said. "Let's go back to the base." They took hand in hand and apparated back to Marlene's room. Marlene turned to face Regulus. "Thanks Reg." Regulus turned red at the sight of Marlene calling him his nickname he hadn't heard in months.Marlene kissed Regulus and he became-if possible- even redder.
