Description: Causes anything the spell comes into contact with to explode, and presumably after to burst into flames.
Seen/Mentioned: Used by Harry Potter to destroy the side-car of a motorbike in which he was riding during a battle with some Death Eaters in 1997; it was later used by Hermione Granger in an attempt to kill Nagini and facilitate an escape from Godric's Hollow. Later in the film it was used again by Harry Potter in a second attempt to try to kill Nagini during the Battle of Hogwarts; the spell ricocheted off the snake's tough exoskeleton and collided into a group of Death Eaters standing behind Nagini.
