Magical Dragons are no less than Muggle dragons many witches and wizards have drained their lives to fight with the dragons. Dragons are also used for potion ; the wizards and witches have discovered 12 uses of dragon blood. It could be also used for herbology like in dragon dung's. Dragons could extremely powerful but not all. In Harry Potter we can see in the goblet fire, how Harry got the dragon egg and also how hagrid got a Norwegian Ritchback, a black dragon. But they had to give it away because dragon breeding was cancelled in 1709 by the warlocks. Most people believe that dragons are like the elder brother of lizards and so they come from the land of lizards!
