Potions? What's that?
Chapter 1
Let's come on! Potions are made of magical ingredients! That must be confusing, compounds are a mixture of elements mixed in a fixed ratio. While mixture is a mixture if two elements mixed in any ratio. The muggles also have the same definition for both but they use different techniques to make potions. They could make a few of them like love potion but it is usually fake.
Now let's discuss solution, solute and solvent. Let's take the example by taking 350 ml water and dissolving salt in it. As the salt disappears it creates a solution and the salt is solute and water is solvent.
For potions we'd require a first year potion kit for now, cauldrons and other important things. Cauldrons could be of many times pewter, copper and brass etc. Usually copper is the fastest brewing material for potion.
