Experimenting with Spells
written by Sailor Caraway
These are some rarer spells that I find can be useful in duels, as well as some I've been trying to develop and get just right.

Advanced Mechanics of Defensive Spells
Chapter 2
Now usually the go-to defensive spell is the Shield Charm (Protego). However, is this charm really the most effective way to defend ourselves in a duel? I mean yes, it does protect us from minor spells but how are we supposed to retaliate and gain control over the fight if we are hiding behind a shield the whole time. What if you could direct your opponents spells back at them quickly and effectively. That way you're protecting yourself as well as keeping your opponent on their toes. Now there is the redirecting spell:
Redirecting spell (A.K.A. The Trampoline Defense)
Incantation: Remittet
Wand Movement:Small circle in front of your chest while spinning your wrist, then a push outward.
However, this spell doesn't allow for aiming of the spell and often doesn't hit your opponent.
