Cody and Shay Carson
Chapter 2
Cody, the father of Isla Carson, was the one who initially suggested the Carson/Malfoy alliance with the Dark Lord. After they began to work for him, they became one of the most feared families on Earth.
Even though very few people knew of their alliance with the Dark Lord, they were still widely known as a family with which to stay on their good side.
After Cody met Shay, it had seemed that Cody was starting to become less troublesome, but later events proved this to be false.
Once they were married, they immediately began trying for a child. And with this child, marked the first time in over a century that a daughter was born to the Carson family. Knowing that the Malfoys were having a son, they took this as an opportunity to combine the two families. Even before they were born, it was decided that Isla and Draco would become married.
The two families never told the two children about this arrangement, and hoped the two would fall in love on their own. But in case they did not grow feelings for each other of their own free will, they made arrangements in the event that they needed to take it into their own hands.
