The Four Branches
Chapter 2
The four branches of Transfiguration are Transformation, Conjuration, Vanishment and Untransformation .
Transformation: This is the first branch of Transfiguration which is only divided into other sub branches. As the most important branch of Transfiguration, Transformation is only taught in 1st year and this is the only important thing which deals with the alterations of objects.
Conjuration : This is the second most needed and useful branch of Transfiguration which you'll found in depth in the other chapters. Conjuration could be useful but conjured foods are not so. Conjured foods are terrible because they will actually vanish and so they are worthless.
Vanishment : The name expains the real thing about it; the third branch of Transfiguration will be discussed later in the chapters.
UnTransfiguration: This means to redo the work in transfiguration.
