Chapter 3: Fulgurus, the Charge charm

Chapter 4
This chapter will cover a spell that Muggles would likely find useful. This spell will power-up an electric device, for example, charging up a cell phone, or restoring a battery's power. This spell is uncommonly used/heard of because electricity is not typically used in the Wizarding World. However, if a wizard/witch were to live in a Muggle village, he/she could easily charge up their electronic devices quickly. This spell is capable of sending an electric shock so particular that it can elongate the lifespan of the device.

Incantation: Fulgurus ('FULL-gur-us')
Wand Movement: Zigzag, like a lightning bolt
Willpower: Moderate; visualize electricity moving throughout your body and into the device
Concentration: Moderate; determines how the spell will affect the device

This charm was first used by Xavius Evercricke, a worker in the Misuse of Muggle Artifacts. He was examining several types of electronic devices, including a cell phone, battery powered toy and computer. Each of these items had been enchanted to cause these items to display a horrifying picture and then shut down, only to repeat the process every time with a new, eery picture. He sent electric shocks through them to power them back up with this spell. The first time Evercricke used this, the canary yellow light zapped him, so be careful when attempting this spell. Also, the shape of the spell should be like a distorted zigzag.
