It was time for The Second Task. Harry was outside with Neville, who was holding the Gillyweed.
“Take this, it will help you breath for an hour.” Neville said.
“For an hour? OK.” Harry answered.
“Well, on the prediction of the artefacts, between the…” Neville explained.
“What? You are telling me this now? You must be joking. I wish Linda and Hermione were here, where are they anyway?” Harry asked, turning around, walking backwards.
“Harry, you look a bit tense.” Neville said.
“Do I?” Harry asked, turning back around.
Then, they prepared for the task and they were off. Then, Harry turned into a kind of underwater animal. Then, he went searching for the people. Then, a few minutes later, he couldn’t believe his eyes: Linda, Hermione and Cho were tied on their legs supported by a stone. Then, there was another girl, too. Then, he broke free Linda, but, when she tried to break up Hermione free, the merpeople came and started poking his neck with their stick. Then, Harry said:
“But, she is my friend.”
“Ahhhh, only one.” shrieked one of the merpeople.
Then, he heard and saw a shark coming to pick Hermione, then, he knew who it was. Then, he saw Cedric taking Cho, so, he then picked Linda and also Fleur’s sister. Then, when he took them, the merpeople gathered around him to stop him. But, he let the girls onto the surface and tried to break free. Fleur and Ron tried to pull them out of the water. Then, after that, Harry took his wand and said “Ascendio!” Then, he flew up in the air and ended up onto the platform. They tried to help him to breathe. Then, Madam Pomfrey came with a towel to wrap Harry so he could get warm. Then, Fleur came and said:
“Thank you for rescuing my sister.” He leaned and gave him a peck. Then, she turned to Ron and said:
“And you, you helped.”
“Nah, it was nothing.” Ron said, but she, too, gave him a peck. Later, Harry saw Linda approaching him and she asked:
“How are you feeling?” She was soaking wet and her dress was wet, too.
“Yes, I’m alright. Thanks.” Harry answered, grinning.
She sat down with him and said:
“Look, I am so happy that you rescued me and mostly, my friend’s sister.”
“Yeah. It was only what I did because they didn’t collect her, that’s why.”
“But, listen, I love you and please, don’t deny it, it’s good you did that unless, Fleur would be able to panic.” Then, she turned to Fleur’s sister and asked:
“Are you OK, Gabrielle?”
“Oui! Yes!” Gabrielle answered, shivering a little. Then, she turned back to Harry and said:
“Look, you’ll be fine, and, thanks again.” She leaned at him and started to kiss him. But then, he heard a voice like a laughter: it was Draco Malfoy.
“Aww, the two couples! I can’t wait, ‘til I hear you guys are getting married.” he said.
Nearly all the Slytherin were laughing and they started to chuckle too. Then, Linda stood up and said:
“Hey, Draco, have you ever heard of a witch with natural powers?”
“No.” he answered, frowning at her.
“Well, guess what? I’m one of them!” She raised her hands and red sparks were coming out of her hands and she yelled “Spingia Malenducenemico!” Red sparks pushed him backwards and fell on the ground. Then, Dumbledore said:
“In first place, Mr. Cedric Diggory used the Bubble-Charm to breath and came first, however, even though Mr. Potter came last, he even took one of the victims, even though it wasn’t his. So I reward, Mr. Diggory, ninety-eight points and Mr. Potter ninety-seven points.”
Everyone clapped to this and he continued:
“Second place, Mr. Krum to use Transfiguration and ended up second place, I reward him, seventy-five points.”
Everyone clapped to that too, and lastly he said:
“And in third place is Miss Delacour owns, forty-nine points.”
Everyone clapped to that too. Then, to finish, he said:
“And the final task will be taken in the 24th of June. The exams will be done by then. Have a good day.”
He went inside the castle and they followed to go inside to The Great Hall.
