Chapter 2
When we stepped out of the train the rain still pelted heavily outside, a kind bloke named Hagrid lead us to Hogwarts. When we gracefully walked inside, there were wax candles hanging around in different formations it was beautiful. Rose started blabbing that the candle were made of rock and was a illusion as what her mother had told her about. Professor Longbottom and Mc Gonagal began to recite some strict rules and regulations. They then said that we are going to find out our houses I was looking forward to this since we arrived here.
Professor Longbottom called up Rose Granger Weasly to have her house chosen. Rose boldly stepped up to the chair and the sorting hat was placed on her head. The sorting hat contemplated for a while and then declared her to be in...... GRIFFINDOR!!! Rose was so happy that now she can follow down her parent's footsteps. She was so ecstatic that she started to boast a diminutive bit. Next was me. Courageously I, walked over to the chair. I was nerve-racked almost paralysed with fear. The hat mumbled Griffindor or Sytherin? I knew I was in Sytherin because my parents and ancestors whom I have descended from were all in Sytherin. There was one confusion when my great grandma was married to a Hufflepuff but I knew I had Sytherin qualities because my Grandpa Severus Snape, use to work in Hogwarts and taught me some valuable Sytherin information. My perseverance started to drift away when the sorting hat announced me in...... SYTHERIN!!! Proudly following my emblem of a snake, I walked to the Sytherin table which cheered me on.
I knew obviously Scorpious would be in Sytherin because his parent's were Draco Malfoy and Astoria so when he was called up, the sorting hat immediately chose Scorpious as Sytherin. Next was Albus Severus Potter, I for one was shocked when the sorting hat chose Albus in Sytherin!!! There was no cheering but no jeering it was absolutely silent. I was glad he could join us but, I felt a little odd. It was awkward for him when he strolled across the room to join the Sytherin table. Everybody including the teachers, stared with their eyes bulging out of their heads at Albus. That's when Mc Gonagal said "That's everyone, you may now feast" I was looking forward to my year at Hogwarts.
