Chapter 6
"Scar! Sacaaaar! Scarlet whatever-your-middle-name-is Flintion! Get out of bed." I groaned, not bothering to open my eyes. "Abbyyyyy!" I whined. I sounded like a four year old, yes. But I didn't care. I was tired. "NOW!!! We're gonna be late." "Fiiiine." I sit up and whack into something. I pulled back. My eyes shot open and I saw Abby pulling back, covering her forehead. "Owww..." we moaned.

We had head butted. I got up and sprinted to the closet. I changed and got ready. Today I had Defense Against the Dark Arts first.

We were dueling. "Who wants to go first?" Asked the teacher. Lots of people raised their hands. Not including me. He picked one of the four Griffendoor boys. Was his name Jack? Or maybe Jake? I don't know. "Annnnnd you." He said, pointing at Abby. She walked walked up to the catwalk with the. It waiting. "Introduce yourselves!" "James Potter." "Abigail Iveral. But, you can call me the girl who kicked Jameses butt." There were some oooohhhh!-s. Along with some comments.

James snarled and they started. They paced, and then turned. "Stupefy!" Shouted the boy. "Protego!" The spell bounced off of Abby's shield. "Expelliarmus!" Jameses wand clashed to the ground. "We have a winner!" Said the teacher, holding up on of Abby's arms in victory.

After class we took a walk outside. We ran into Carmon. "Hey, guys." "Hey." We responded. "Nice vocabulary." He said sarcastically. I yawned. "Thanks."

My barn owl Moon Pue dropped a letter on my head, and flew away. "Hey!" I took the note. It said that my little brother has gone missing. It said that he has been missing for the past few days. My eyes widened. I stuffed in into my pocket and acted like there was no note. No owl. No tears trying to break free.

Then I realized what happened. The death eaters. They killed him. They must have hidden the body somewhere. My eight year old brother was murderd. And there was nothing I could do. I wasn't sad any more. I. Was. Mad. The tingling started. "Gotta go, bye!" I said, running off. "Wha-wait!" "Scarlet!" "Scarlet!" I ran into the bathroom, and broke the handel. I heard pounding on the door. "I will break down this door if you don't let us in right now!" Shouted Abby's muffled voice. "Come outside!" Shouted Carmon. "All right. I'm coming in." Announced Abby. She was answered by my agonizing cries. "One...!" My teeth sharpened into fangs. My nails became claws. My eyes turned blood red. "... Three!" She busted down the door, making a loud crash and dust everywhere. Abby was on the floor, sprawled out. The impact was to much so she fell to the floor, it looked like. Carmon looked to my fangs, then my eyes, then my claws.

His eyes widened as the truth dawned on him. Abby was staring at me too. All I could say was, "Run." "What?" Said Carmon. He was distracted. "Run." I repeated. "We don't want to lose house points, right?" Abby and Carmon nodded, and we made a brake for it.
